For The Self (Day 12)

A vicious habit,

A regular dose of the same,

Drilling to ingrain, this,

Habit of incessant need,

Need to do well,

Perfection at every orbit to jump,

Building an extra shine, so,

Well, it's more about achievement,

Achievement steams anxiety,

With beads of fear and jealousy,

Further fueling this,

Anxiety to be independent,

Independence from society,

An absolute freedom,

Consistently barricaded through,

Society's pressures, to break,

Break the norm of the usual,

What's given is, and

What's expected is the,

Usual, that forgets about taking risks,

Risk-taking to create opportunity,

Surrounded by mucky feelings,

That halts progress towards,

Opportunity to be able to prove,

Prove to self of its worth,

Not through a hypothesis,

Just diligent effort, that is,

Worth the best,

Best towards and from life,

Constantly feeding that halo,

To pump the vision of,

Life to live to the core,

Core, which brings closer to the spirit,

Every inch of the being, connected,

Like webs of love, for the,

Spirit defines God in oneself.
